Power

Not only is EXO the best artists in K-POP but they're arguably the best in the world. The Power music video shows their more immature sides and is different from their other music videos. All of their music video's have stories behind them and link together to create a story. This is one of the reasons why EXO are so unique and one of the reasons why I love this music video so much. It's also their latest music video.

Starting off, unless you know everything about EXO's music video theories then this music video makes very little sense. It still makes very little sense even when you know all of the theories. But, the first thing you need to know it EXO has "powers" and they are alien from EXO Planet. Chen's is lightning or thunder, Xiumin's is ice, Suho's is water, Sehun's is wind, Kai's is teleportation, Chanyeol's is fire, Kyungsoo's is strength and Baekhyun's is light. Lay, who's power is healing isn't in the music video because of his China promotions but there's also some theories to this.

The red force stole their power orbs and is using them against them and eventually they get them back because I think Baekhyun helped them with the power opf EXO-L (the kitten) even though it was Chen who destroyed the red force. In the teasers Baekhyun didn't have an orb and when the members get their orbs he gets his back too. Then using an eclipse (Baekhyun's power is light so he created an eclipse. Eclipses occur regularly in EXO's music videos, and this gives the members their powers back. Then Baekhyun flies from EXO planet onto earth.

KO KO BOP

EXO's music videos are supposedly backwards and this video supports that theory. This music video 

is EXO coming to earth and getting used to everything but it all feels strange and like they're on drugs. (They are not, as drugs are extremely illegal in Korea). They are using their powers to entertain themselves, like Chen using the wires and his lightning power to create power so they can see flying burgers. 

For Life

This music video doesn't really make any sense however some things do link EXO really just needed a Christmas album.

Lotto

Firstly, this music video is more proof that EXO's music videos go backwards. In the music video before, they sustained injuries that wouldn't heel quickly and in the Lotto music video, they don't have any evidence of injury. In music videos before this there seems to be something controlling them, probably the red force. The Lotto music video is them fighting back, and at the end Chanyeol is arrested. This brings us to the Monster music video.

Monster + Lucky One

In the Monster music video, EXO are fighting the red force again. The red force beat them but Baekhyun either saves them or tricks them because he is dressed as a member of the red force and gets them all in a van. This brings us to the Lucky One music video.

The red force have captured them and are testing on them. EXO use their powers to beat the red force and they end up in a maze. This maze refers to Overdose. 

Sing For You

This music video again, is for Christmas and again, doesn't really contribute to the story at all. 

Love Me Right

I see this music video is EXO having fun on EXO Planet and doing things that they enjoy. It's very aesthetically pleasing and is very trippy like the KO KO BOP music video. I think these videos link in terms of meaning. It's EXO having fun, appearing as if they are on drugs, I guess for the aesthetic. I think their company dropped the story after a Tao then left, leaving them as a 9, but picked it up again in later videos.

Call Me Baby

This is the first comeback they had after Kris and Luhan left the group. They dropped the story because it was hard to complete it without 12 members but for the purpose of EXO still having jobs and the company still making money, they needed another comeback. Call Me Baby is their second most popular music video with 154 million views. It has a catchy chorus, catchy dance moves and a memorable video. Like a typical K-POP music video, it has the members in trendy outfits and sporting whatever ridiculous hairstyles the stylists have them wear. The video appears to be continuous, without any breaks which made the video so popular.

Overdose

Overdose starts with the members stuck in a maze. This maze appears again in Lucky One. The lyrics give us more of a clue with whats going on. 

"Someone call the doctor," could mean that they need help because they're stuck and are under the influence of something. 

Miracles in December 

It's about girls leaving them at Christmas, it's just another Christmas thing.

Growl & Wolf

In Growl/Wolf suddenly they are a bunch of wolves/ wild beasts? But I guess it is just some sort of metaphor, like the powerful boys being compared to the kind of beast that they can be while holding such great power. In this time, yes, EXO probably knows about their power but they don't know yet how to control their powers well. It's either it comes when they lash out or not at all. They can't control it in their own will. Growl is also the song EXO is most known for and was the start of their popularity in Korea. 

The fandom does not speak of Wolf.

What Is Love

Honestly, the next few videos are just funny, however they hold a lot of meaning and are significant to the story. What Is Love shows EXO finding more about their powers. An eclipse also appears in it and all the members seem to know this means something. 

History

The only thing I got from this music video was that they're on a planet that's obviously not Earth. It's pretty much them just dancing with their awful hair and outfits.

MAMA

            


Literally looks the same as History but has some long story thing at the beginning. However this is introducing EXO as legends (KPOP legends yes) with their supernatural powers. It basically says how EXO came together (something about suns and skies) which is basically EXO-K, their Korean unit, and EXO-M their Chinese unit (M standing for Mandarin). And then theirs an eclipse. Every eclipse we have and have ever had is recorded and you can see the dates on Wikipedia. If you type the date an EXO music video was released, for example Love Me Right which was released on June 2nd, you will find that their will be an eclipse on June 2nd 2095. KO KO BOP was released on the date of our most recent eclipse. Overdose was released on May 6th and their was an eclipse on May 6th 1883.

What do Eclipses mean?

In Greek history, an eclipse stopped a 5 year war. EXO just celebrated their 5 year anniversary as an Idol Group and released their album, The War (the one with KO KO BOP). A lot of people thinks this means they will be stopping this story because in Korea, when a man reaches the age of 27, he has to go to the military for 18 months. Xiumin is enlisting in the military next near as he's now 27. So many fans believe that they'll be taking a break from this story until all the members have gone to the military and returned.
