8. Best TV/film adaptation of a book

The Harry Potter franchise 

I personally think that the films were very well done based off of the books. I think they heavily referenced the books, unlike some other movies and TV shows who completely ruin the plot and characters.

I also think that the cast was very well selected, they were very well suited to their roles. For example, Alan Rickman played Snape really well.
